Accessing Business Settings

Navigate to your business profile from the admin panel.

Open Admin Menu

From the dashboard, click on Admin in the main navigation menu.

Select Business

Click Business to view and edit your business profile.

Editing Business Information

Your business profile contains several categories of information that can be updated.

Basic Information

Business Name
Your officially registered business name with ZIMRA
Trading Name
Optional name you use publicly if different from registered name
Business Type
Category of your business (e.g., Retail, Services, Manufacturing)

Tax Information

TIN
10-digit Taxpayer Identification Number from ZIMRA
VAT Number
VAT registration number starting with "VAT"
Tax Code
Your ZIMRA-assigned tax category code

TIN Changes

Your TIN cannot be changed after ZIMRA verification. Contact support if you need to correct your TIN.

Location Information

ZIMRA Region
Your regional ZIMRA office (e.g., Harare, Bulawayo)
ZIMRA Station
Specific ZIMRA station handling your compliance
Province
Province where your business operates
Physical Address
Street address of your business headquarters

Contact Information

Business Email
Primary email for business communications
Phone Number
Business contact phone number

Save your changes

After making any changes, click the Save button at the bottom of the form. Some changes may require ZIMRA synchronization.

Understanding Business Status

Your business has a status that reflects its operational state with ZIMRA.

Active
Business is operating normally and can process transactions.
Pending
Business setup is in progress or awaiting ZIMRA verification.
Suspended
Business operations are suspended. Contact support immediately.

Changes requiring ZIMRA notification

The following changes may require notification to ZIMRA:
  • Business name changes
  • Address changes
  • ZIMRA station changes
VasBox will prompt you when ZIMRA synchronization is needed.

Impact on existing documents

Changes to your business profile will apply to new invoices and receipts. Previously issued documents retain the information from when they were created.
