Understanding Receipts
What receipts represent in VasBox.
A receipt is the fiscalized record of a sale. It contains all transaction details including line items, taxes, and payment information. Once fiscalized, it includes ZIMRA verification data.

Receipt Types
Different types of receipts for different situations.

Creating a Receipt
The most common way to create receipts.
- 1. Finalize invoice
- 2. Click "Fiscalize" on invoice
- 3. Receipt created automatically
- 4. Proceed to fiscalization
- 1. Navigate to Receipts → Create
- 2. Add line items manually
- 3. Select payment method
- 4. Create and fiscalize
Select or Add Line Items
Add the products or services for this receipt:

Set Quantity and Price
Enter the quantity for each item. The price defaults to the product's unit price but can be overridden if needed.
Verify Tax Calculation
Tax is automatically calculated based on each product's tax category. Review the tax breakdown in the summary.
Add Payment Details
Select the payment method and enter the amount received. For cash payments, change is calculated automatically.
Payment Methods
Recording how the customer paid.
Physical currency. Change is calculated if amount received exceeds total.
Credit or debit card payments processed through your terminal.
EcoCash, OneMoney, or other mobile payment methods.
Direct bank transfers or RTGS payments.
Any other payment method not listed above.
